Countries where the use of payment cards is restricted by the Bank

Taking into account the recently growing trend of fraudulent transactions with payment cards, for the purposes of risk mitigation and on the basis of the data at the disposal of the Bank and our experience, we have created a list of countries with restricted payment card use possibilities:

If you are planning a trip to any of the above countries, please notify us by sending a message on the Internet Bank and stating the dates and destinations of the planned trip. Having received your message, we will list your payment card on a special white list and you will be able to use your payment card without any restrictions.


Countries where the use of payment cards is prohibited by the Bank

To reduce risks related to money laundering and terrorism financing, the Bank has established the list of countries where using the Bank’s cards, including cash withdrawals, is impossible:

  • Iraq
  • South Sudan
  • Libya
  • North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea)
  • Syria
  • Somalia
  • Sudan
  • Yemen
